Don't know if this is what you're after specifically, but everyone
can use the following link to find some info on specific aircraft model
types at:
http://users.rcn.com/jeremy.k/serialSearch.html
Here's what I found after the search, then looking for text with the
word "March" (for AFB)in it:
51-2192 ... 51-2246
Boeing B-47B-40-BW Stratojet
c/n 450245/450299
2192 (320th BW, 441st BS) crashed on takeoff at March AFB,
CA Mar 2, 1957. 4 on board killed.
2204, 2210, 2217, 2224, 2231, 2237, and 2243 completed by Lockheed
as B-47B-40-LM from components built by Boeing.
2192/2234 to DB-47B
2231 (320th BW) crashed on takeoff from March AFB 10/13/1955.
All crew killed.
So, looks like s/n 51-2192 crashed on takeoff March 2, 1957 killing crew of four, and s/n 51-2231 crashed on takeoff October 13, 1955. Hope that answeres some questions.
