The federal investigation into the theft & damage that has
occurred at this site is still ongoing. The site is posted with reward
posters requesting information on who damaged the site and notifying
visitors that it is a federal felony to harm this historic site in any
way. Monitoring and surveillance of the site by the USFS investigations
branch remains active.
