In 1955 a B-47 crashed in my family's wheat field across the road
from my house. This occured 1 mile east of Braman, Oklahoma in 1955.
The crew was killed and our wheat field was destroyed. We also had some
damage to our homestead. I was only one year old at the time and my
parents are now deceased. A major part of the plane ended up only a few
feet from me. My father, Elmer Frieouf, ran out to the field to try to
help people, but this was hopeless. This was only about 150 yards from
our house. It was a fairly well publicized crash. I would very much
like to know the details of the cause of this crash and would like to
see the results of the investigation and anything else associated with
any publications or photographs of this crash. This event was around 48
years ago and I still find debris around the crash site which is in a
wheat field that I own.
