B-17C crash site and questions

My brother and I visited the Tells Peak crashsite of the B-17C for the first time about a month ago. We found the wing and tail sections... VERY fascinating. It is a SHAME that someone chopped a big piece out of the wing and removed the bomb bay doors, and hacked up various bits of the wing. We were very disapponted to see this.
We had a copy of the original 1941 Army Air Corps crash report that we used to locate the crash location. The report states that the nose is located on a ridge south of the tail section. We search around for about an hour in the thick brush, looking in the location indicated on the Army map, but we didn't find anything. The Army report also indicates that the 4 engines are located further south. We didn't bother looking for these.
Does anyone know if the nose section or engines are still out there. I haven't seen them mentioned in any of the recent information detailing this wreck, or seen any pictures of these pieces. Perhaps the Army salvaged these parts in the 1940's?
