Hello. We are looking for any information pertaining to a B-47 crash involving one or two planes near Tatum, New Mexico. Approximately October 3, 1955. 63rd Bomber Squadron.
My husband is trying to learn more about his grandfather who perished in this accident. His grandmother was told by the Air Force one story, but she ran into the only surviving member of the crew who told her a different story. (One plane involved versus two, etc.) We are also trying to locate the surviving crewmember. My husband has those airplane genes in him and would love to learn more.
