CLipper Romance of the Skies disappeared mid-Pacific in November
1957. All 44 aboard perished. No May Day. 20 minutes earlier, radio
message received that all was OK. High level of carbon monoxide found
in pilot, although no in-flight fire occurred. No probable cause.
Anyone have info/want to share?
