I am new to wreck chasing and I do a lot of hiking in the Smokies National Park. Be that as it may, I have heard stories of a P-51 that went down somewhere in the park. Do you know anything about this? No one seems to know anything. I would be interested in any wrecks you might be able to point me in the direction of.
In an upcoming trip I am checking out a C-182 that is in the NE section of the park. Not as exciting as some of the military aircraft, but interesting none the less.
